The Field Services Resource Manager will be responsible for managing the North American Aftermarket Field Service Team. All resources, and logistics required to perform services and maintenance activities on customers' site / property. These activities contribute to, maintaining, repairing and refurbishing sold or existing products. In this role, you will be involved in all types of maintenance service (preventive and remedial), manage maintenance facilities and field services engineering.

Essential Responsibilities

In this role, the field Services Resource Manager - North America will be responsible for field resource deployment planning and execution to meet customer and business metrics. You will also Interface with the customer service managers on issues escalation. In this role, you will develop long range forecasts for region resource needs, and execute short and long-range resource plans based on resource forecasts and region business commitments including recruitment, skills reviews, and resource development through advance level training. You will also Develop a year plan for its own department, be involved in discussions with other functions and teams about improvement in processes, procedures and ways of working and contributes to plan of larger unit while, communicating across direct organization. You will present to senior leaders in specific technical space and on cross functional teams on how technologies interconnect and contribute to overall strategy. You will work with diverse clients in a region, following the frameworks to get through the processes.

As the Field Service Resource Manager - North America, you will:
  • Lead of Field Area Managers and Field Service Engineers
  • Assist in developing common technical procedures and driving technical solutions throughout the region
  • Be responsible for field service / technical work
  • Specify critical resource needs required to meet business objectives
  • Develop customer strategies, campaign plans, and leadership in their execution
  • Integrate information, resources, and activities within the region
  • Develop influential relationships with assigned customers at all levels and develop strategies to win profitable business from those customers
  • Resolve any supplier / customer problems
  • Develop and manage third party distribution channels and direct employees to maximize revenue generation, market penetration and project
  • Coordinate with product managers, product specialists, and marketing communications to ensure the appropriate level of marketing and applications support is provided within region
  • Develop and implement long-term distribution strategies for the region
  • Communicate customer and competition marketplace feedback, including new product ideas, distribution changes, services, etc.


  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (OR a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Services)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Resource Management and/or customer interface work experience
