Generator Cell Leader demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.

Essential Responsibilities

As the Generator Cell Leader, you will:
  • Coordinate direct manufacturing activities throughout Generator Cell, work with operations leaders and technicians to ensure workflow, quality, and safety initiatives
  • Drive operations team towards execution of site goals using Lean Manufacturing methodology
  • Manage production schedules and generator cell to improve cost, productivity, and forecast labor needs to ensure customer commitments
  • Select, train and develop plant workforce including direct labor and supervisory staff
  • Conduct employee performance reviews where applicable
  • Schedule and conduct cell meetings
  • Foster employee engagement and ensure that business and operational goals are effectively communicated to employees
  • Ensure compliance and understanding of incoming technical specifications, procedures and other requirements of the customer
  • Ensure Methods-Technologies or quality department or other internal experts are involved in the production activity
  • Partner with the regions and commercial teams to win orders


  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business Management from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 5 years of operations / project management experience
