Works on or leads highly complex projects that require an in-depth knowledge across two or more specialized user experience domains.You will manage a team of interactive and visual designers ensuring consistent design and design processes are followed on Power Services projects. Serves as the Primary liaison to other UX teams in GE Power and GE Digital.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Participate in and begins to influence the business-wide discussions relative to the future direction of design and user experience
  • Participates in and leads team discussions relative to current user experience projects
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of Agile / Lean UX methodologies
  • Guide effective documentation and communication of design - via wireframes, mockups, and requirements engineering
  • Begin to lead research and evaluation of emerging design, technology, industry, and market trends


    Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) OR completion of a code development pair-programming, bootcamp-style, or accelerated training curriculum focused on contemporary software development OR High School Diploma / GED with 2 years minimum of IT
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Interactive or Visual web design OR Master's degree with 3 years of experience Interactive or Visual web designEligibility Requirements

    Must be willing to travel
    Must be willing to work out of an office located in New Orleans, LA
