Join us and become Senior Business Analyst in Procurement Excellence where you will be supporting our high ambitions and our business units' ambitious goals, requiring a huge focus on purchasing the right quality at the right price.
As Senior Business Analyst, you will play a key role in making this happen. We are constantly working to improve the methodological, analytical, strategic and tactical platform of our procurement activities and process. Our primary area of responsibility is to identify ways of achieving the perfect fit between the supplier market and our technical needs and contractual set-up. We take pride in ensuring that all procurement tasks are based on an in-depth understanding of the business needs, the supplier market and the suppliers.
Procurement Excellence is part of our Group functions, which cover Group Support, Group Finance & Services and Group IT. In Group Finance & Services, we focus our efforts on supporting the entire business and ensuring that the company works as a professional, reliable and responsible company.
You will be based at our office in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area.
Your key duties will be to
  • be responsible for supporting several areas of the procurement function
  • deliver price comparisons, market research and innovative ideas
  • understand the technical necessities in the product and compare it with the capabilities of the suppliers
  • consolidate bids, comparing them with competing bids, historical prices and other relevant benchmarks
  • Create fact-based strategies which is used as the foundation for the future price optimisation of products or services
  • prepare specific recommendations for issues to be negotiated.
Together with your immediate manager, you will develop and maintain the daily support necessary for our purchasers to achieve the very best results. Much of your work will consist of preparing cost breakdowns, procurement strategies and tender evaluations as well as providing support for negotiations. Your performance will determine the extent of your ownership of each stage in the process.
Your overall success will depend on your ability to find opportunities in the purchases, which help to get more value for the money spent.
Your qualifications and core competences include that you
  • have a bachelor's or master's degree within economics or supply chain management
  • have some years of experience, preferably within procurement or financial analysis
  •  are comfortable with the Microsoft Office suite and capable of using it efficiently to analyse problems and communicate the results
  • speak and write English fluently.
As a person, you are analytical, customer-oriented, communicative and have business understanding, enabling you to stay ahead of your internal customers' expectations and needs. You have experience with working in a large organisation and are good at establishing relations. You take initiatives and are good at making decisions. Finally, you work independently and in an efficient and result-oriented manner without compromising on the quality of your work.
