You will be part of Robotics in Mölndal. We develop, manufacture and market robots with associated control systems, software, arc welding products, track motions and motor packages. In Sweden, we are approximately 600 employees who are located in Västerås and Mölndal. More than 90 percent of our production is exported and all the major automotive manufacturers are among our customers. The automotive industry and their subcontractors, as well as other industries such as the food industry, are the main users of robot-based automation. Welding, machine service, handling of material, grinding, packaging, and assembling are the most common application areas. The sales of robots and robot systems are managed by local ABB companies as well as by freestanding system integrators and OEM companies these are the firms we call our business partners.

We are looking for a driven service-minded and customer focused Technical Product Support Engineer - specialized in PC Software. You will be part of the advanced robot product support team which consists of 18 experts, who are responsible for resolving various technical issues reported by our customers.
Our customers are within ABB and the department offers technical information regarding the products or the applications throughout the organization and the best way to use them. You will work with our internal global service function with international customers and be provided with the possibility to grow and to take the next step in your career. As your responsibilities contain different issues and customers, both within Sweden and abroad, your days will be varied. Furthermore, you will also be provided with the benefit of travelling to meet your customers and help them solve their issues. You will also be provided with training and educational courses to advance as an expert.

You are a driven supportive team member with great communication skills who always has the customer in focus when it comes to solving the support cases. You will be responsible for advanced technical support cases, therefore project management skills are beneficial in this role. You are specialized in PC Software and we require you to hold a university degree within computer engineering or equivalent experience. A couple of years of work experience from any of the following: robotics, RobotStudio, Rapid, .NET or Process Simulate are beneficial. Combined with experience from a service-oriented profession, you might be the one we are looking for. To suit the service-oriented role you need to be quality conscious, analytical and solution focused. The position is based in Mölndal.
