The Company:
Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide

The Role:
To deliver Transformer service projects achieving safety of personnel, profitability, customer satisfaction, whilst adapting to changes during the project accordingly

• To provide a safe working environment for all site employees, mitigate the risks

• Manage the environmental risks associated with the business unit.
• Create the environment that allows all employees to develop and succeed.
• Communicate effectively with all personnel involved in the project cycle

Business opportunities
• Takes a strong active personal role in management of the projects
• Ensure sustainable growth targets are achieved through driving project efficiencies
• Managing value creation and variations during project delivery
• Use technical knowledge to drive growth in specific portfolio areas
Sales processes
• Ensure continuous improvement from site works and cost to sell in line with profitability targets via feedback from site
• Upselling on projects and identifying other opportunities to drives sales
• Ensure business sales processes are adhered to
• Ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed and directed. Guide, motivate and develop personnel within HR policies.
Special projects
• Work closely with the product factories to ensure quality and swift issue resolution
• Contribute to operational savings reporting

• Interact and manage key customers and their expectation of the Service product and portfolio
• Ensure customer satisfaction by driving towards excellent quality
• Ensure legal compliance for customers
• Responsive to customer requests. Ensure deadlines are fully met and customers fully engaged

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Strong background in the power sector and Transformers
• HNC or above in Electrical Engineering
• Demonstrate customer focus
• Experience managing projects
• Financial management and forecasting
• Results orientation
• Ability to make an Impact and influence change
• Good and accurate record keeping
• Strong people skills

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Experience of differing business sectors and industry familiarisation
• Safety Training - IOSH or NEBOSH
