Senior Customer Research Executive
EDF Energy are seeking a Senior Customer Research Executive to be based in Hove. The job will be a key member of our high performing Data Insight and Customer Research team, and will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to work on projects that input in to key company decisions.
Based in Hove with the Sales & Marketing team, the Senior Customer Research Executive will play a lead role in analysing and interpreting both quantitative and qualitative data, and making recommendations to key stakeholders to help them actively implement improvements. The role will involve championing the voice of the consumer in the team, and ensuring that at all times the marketing teams remain focused on delivering a solution that meets the consumers' needs.
Importantly for this role, there will be substantial degree of proactive work when working with members of the Sales and Marketing teams, which will help integrate consumer needs into marketing activity. You will design and undertake research on customer and prospect behaviour and attitudes, to include opinion on existing products and services, new product development, overall customer satisfaction, customer service experience and future expectations. You will lead research projects from start to finish, choosing the most appropriate research methodology and supporting data provision as appropriate.
It's important to build effective working relationships with research agencies, ensuring output is delivered according to high quality and within time scales. You will also work with analysts across EDF Energy's retail business unit in order to integrate primary research with external market data and internal system data to drive insight into the core of decision making.
Previous experience of working in the market research industry, either client side or at a market research agency, is essential. The successful candidate will have experience of market research methodologies, sample data preparation and reporting, and will be able to apply analytical thinking to both the planning and reporting of research data collection.

The Senior Customer Research Executive reports in to the Customer Insight Manager and is expected to act as a mentor to junior staff within the team.
