We are currently working with a small but well-established E&P company to source a Senior Geologist to add to their growing team.
Candidate's with conventional field experience working in Kansas, Oklahoma or Wyoming area would be of interest & any experience in the Permian Basin, Big Horn Basin, Anadarko Basin or the Hugoton Embayment would be a distinct advantage in this position.
Anyone candidate's with waterflooding or CO2 flooding experience would be an ideal fit for the position as would Engineers who have been working on identifying and quantifying development opportunities.
Requirements of the position:
Identify development projects through the use of seismic interpretation, well log analysis, and regional geologic studies
Integrate data (seismic, logs, core, production, etc.) to generate a detailed geologic model for producing fields
Create associated structure, net pay, and other related maps and cross-sections to support the geologic model
Provide geologic support functions to drilling projects and other operations
Coordinate and oversee the work of third party consultants
Determine reserves and economics associated with development projects
Negotiate contract terms with other operators, vendors, and lease owners
Proficiency in relevant geoscience softwares would also be advantageous.
