Responsibilities include: Development of detailed work instructions, refinements of specifications, job estimating, contract development & administration, procurement of materials and services, all with extensive use of information systems.

Equipment Includes: Combustion Turbines and Steam Turbines Controls, Generator Maintenance and Inspections, Heat Recovery Steam Generator/HRSG/Boiler controls, Motor and Air Actuated Valves, Motors, Beakers and Switchgear, etc. Interact with plant customers to understand planning assignment specifics. Coordinate planning activities with a team of other planners to assure continuity of work and efficiency of planning. Maintain an effective interface with various fleet organizations relative to engineering and technical issues. Walk-down equipment in various type plants including conventional, combined cycle, and solar electrical generating facilities. Manage large quantities of planning assignments at multiple plants with definitive due dates for deliverables.

Development of the following to support successful execution of repetitive maintenance work and project activities:
Work Instructions: incorporating work-scope, task sequences, technical specifications, quality checkpoints, and both environmental and safety considerations into a formal procedure that facilitates job execution.
Materials specifications and requirements: on-going development of equipment and job related bills of material. Generation of requisitions and purchases related to assigned work. Interact with Supply Chain personnel to assure that materials objectives are achieved.

Contract Services: develop contract work-scopes, conduct field walk-downs, evaluate and award purchase orders based on established service contracts.

Cost Estimates: develop appropriate work breakdowns and definitive cost estimates for assigned jobs. On a continuing basis, update cost estimates for standard jobs.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and 2-5 years relevant duties experience and relevant supervisory experience required, if applicable.

MAXIMO experience highly desirable. Previous journeyman experience highly desirable.
