With a strong pipeline of work in Queensland, we are looking for an experienced Pavements Engineer to join our South Brisbane team. Working within the Buildings & Infrastructure Transport business line and reporting to the Section Leader - Civil Infrastructure & Aviation, the purpose of this role is to undertake and provide strategic design direction for flexible and rigid pavement designs in all current markets.

Our Civil team consults to a range of clients in the transport and aviation sectors. With some recent, major project wins, this role will suit an engineering professional with extensive experience across a broad range of infrastructure projects.

This is a key specialist position that requires:

• Extensive knowledge of pavement design standards

• Sound knowledge of pavement materials and characteristics

• Knowledge and ability to complete relevant contract documentation

• Sound knowledge of constructability constraints

To be successful in this role you will :

• As a minimum hold an undergraduate degree in a related discipline

• Have a proven background working within a multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy environment

• Demonstrate advanced working knowledge of CIRCLY, COMFAA and FAARFIELD softwares

• Have an extensive background and knowledge of pavement design standards

• Exhibit sound knowledge of pavement materials and characteristics

• Have extensive experience interpreting geotechnical testing for pavement designs

• Previous experience working in a design & construct environment is desirable
