Jacobs Technology is looking for a Quality Control Manager.

The QCM shall have full authority and responsibility for assuring performance objectives and standards identified by the customer, including but not limited to: 1) The establishment and maintenancee of a complete Quality Management System (QMS) that provides an effective and efficient means of identifying and correcting problems throughout the entire scope of operations; 2) Development of a Quality Control Plan (QCP) that describes the QMS methodology approaches to be used; 3) Establish and maintain an inspection system in accordance with the FAR Clause 52.246-4; and 4) Maintain and generate reports and files as required. Plans, directs, and participates in the Quality Program activities to support the customer contract. This position reports to the Program Manager. The candidate must possess a proven track record of delivering high levels of performance and customer satisfaction.
BS degree from an accredited college or university in Industrial Engineering or related and fourteen (14) years related experience, or MS degree and twelve (12) years related experience or Ph.D. and eight (8) years of related experience. Industry recognized certification in Quality Management; +10 years experience in overseeing a Quality Management System; hands-on experience in the following areas: Process Control; Quality Control Plan Development; Quality Inspection System; Quality Data Collection, Analysis, and Reporting; and Compliance with FAR Clause 52.246-4, Inspection of Services - Fixed Price. Maximo experience required. Candidates with working experience in Facility Support Services and Maintenance; Asset Management, and demonstrated knowledge of Maintenance Reliability practices will be given preference. Certification as a Reliability Maintenance Professional (CMRP) is a plus. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Must be able to work at a computer for extended periods. Must be able to interact effectively with all levels of employees and customers.

Work Environment

Primarily work will be performed in an office environment; large complex with industrial plants.

Computers and General Office Equipment (e.g. phone, computers, copiers, printers)


With the exception of approved leave and holidays, attendance is mandatory. Overtime may be required. This position is expected to be on-site during all regular business hours as aligned with customer requirements. Position or alternate shall be available on-site within one hour of customer's request.

Other Essential Functions

Must take and pass a drug test and background check. Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others. Must be well-organized with the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Must be able to interface effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization. Must be willing to travel as-needed.
