Position Summary

Jacobs is hiring. Group Leader for Water Team in Philadelphia, PA.

Building upon recent success, Jacobs is seeking to grow its water business in the Northeast and is actively searching for a group leader to lead the team. This person is responsible for cultivating the relationship with area clients and successfully managing the financial, technical, safety, quality and schedule components of projects. We are seeking a team-oriented, technically-sharp, solutions-driven and engaged professional.

Projects will range in size from $10k to $10M and include study, design and construction management for water, wastewater and stormwater facilities.

The individual will be responsible for helping to build the regional water business by producing high-quality work products, mentoring staff, executing the business plan, recruiting new team members and maintaining active engagement in associations.

  • 10+ years of experience of experience with consulting firm or water/ wastewater utility.
  • BS or MS in Civil/Environmental engineering field required
  • Professional Engineer License - Pennsylvania required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required
  • Enthusiastic, dependable, self-starter, who is organized and able to work effectively with minimal supervision preferred
  • Familiarity with government and public sector projects preferred
