We are currently seeking an individual for a Senior Tax Analyst position.  The individual will be exposed to the relatively new and developing renewable energy industry, and specifically, will be responsible for various tax activities including the following:
  1. Prepare income tax workpapers including calculating book to tax adjustments, depreciation and apportionment.
  2. Prepare and/or review both federal and state income tax returns.
  3. Prepare monthly and quarterly sales and use tax returns.
  4. Prepare property tax renditions and manage property tax payments, correspondence and budgeting for multiple taxing jurisdictions. 
  5. Prepare income tax and property tax projections and estimates used by various groups within the company.
  6. Respond to outside investors inquiries regarding income tax matters. 
  7. Assist in preparing the year-end tax provision.
  8. Maintain a system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over tax activities.
  9. Maintain and reconcile General Ledger accounts by booking tax ledger journal entries.
  10. Participate in annual audits and quarterly reviews done by internal and external auditors.
  11. Assist in special projects.

Education Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
  2. CPA (preferred)
Work Experience Requirements:
  1. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) (required)
  2. Working knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP (required)
  3. 2 to 5 years' experience in corporate or partnership income tax (required).  Exposure to non-income taxes a plus. 
  4. Experience with OneSource or other tax return preparation software (preferred)
  5. Familiarity with SAP a plus
