npower are searching for an experienced PA to join our Customer Service Domestic Business supporting both the Head of Continuous Improvement and Head of Front Office.

Role description Through pro-active management of their workload you will ensure that they can operate at a strategic level and contribute effectively to both the department and RWE as a whole.

Duties and responsibilities include:

Diary management

Planning travel including booking parking and accommodation arrangements

Proactively deal with internal and external correspondence including e-mails and telephone calls

Co-ordinate off/on site meetings with internal and external attendees when required

Arrange interviews with internal/external candidates when required

Ensure the Head of department has appropriate meeting papers and any additional documentation / information in advance of their meetings including briefings

Deal with enquiries resolving those where possible and referring more complex issues to an appropriate person

Develop and maintain effective filing and archiving system.

Support Head of Department and wider team in raising POs & ISP requests

Complete monthly expenses for the Head of Department and ensure they are processed accurately and on time via SAP

Maintain confidentiality information at all times

Order and maintain stationery

Provide PA cover during periods of annual leave

Maintain distribution lists in Outlook

Maintain Structure Charts in PowerPoint

Check monthly Travel reports

Produce Power point presentations and occasional simple Excel spread sheet

Ad hoc admin duties

Skills and experience Previous experience of working as a PA at a senior level together with experience of working in a confidential and accurate manner is essential

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Outstanding planning, organization and networking skills

Ability to work remotely and act on own initiative

Competency in the use of all Microsoft Office packages

Confident approach and professional manner in order to deal with people at all levels in the organization

Ability to work in a pressurised environment

Previous experience of working in a change led organisation, evidencing ability to accept change positively and adapt to changing situations and priorities
