Document Administrators and Editors transform ordinary electronic documents into clean, clear, attractive publications. They use page layout editing, formatting, and typography to create both electronic and print documents of varying size and complexity-from technical project reports and proposals, to marketing materials. Document Administrators and Editors' diverse range of skills include document design and formatting, proofreading, and reprographics, and transform them from conception to final/ ready to print  document.
  • Provides publishing technical support using advanced computer applications and equipment
  • Acts as part of production team, collaborating with team members in production of both electronic and print documents
  • Assists with CRM maintenance and reporting
  • Completes routine technical tasks and follow direction from a lead
  • Ensures client satisfaction with work product
  • Performs quality control check to meet project quality, objectives and deadlines
  • May assist with supply ordering and record keeping under direction of a lead

The minimum qualifications for this position are:
  • University Degree
  • Prior experience in document editing
  • Advanced proficiency in desktop publishing software (MS Office i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Previous experience in applications such a CRM, Power BI, Adobe InDesign and SharePoint would be an asset
  • Previous experience in managing quality control of data entry (CRM system)
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests and respond within appropriate timeframe
  • Very good knowledge of English
  • Strong team player, with demonstrated organization and attention to details skills
  • Ability to timely accomplish tasks and objectives and effectively communicate results
  • Experience in hard deadline environment

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
  • Previous experience working in engineering industry would be an asset
  • Knowledge and understanding of companies similar to CH2M is desirable
