The Company:
Our Client is a large Automotive and Commercial Vehicle OEM, with a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering on a contract basis. These opportunities are typically based in their research and development facility located in Dunton which is the largest automotive technical centre in the United Kingdom.

The Role:
Performance Powertrain Integration Engineer Responsible for co-ordinating design, development and testing of Powertrain systems in a performance vehicle derivative

Skills Required:
•Design and development of mechanical systems.
•Project management and problem solving skills. Ability to work with minimum supervision.
•Desire to take on leadership responsibility for technical issues. Ability to demonstrate a `systems engineering approach. Ability to take on multiple tasks and to deliver on time and with high quality.
•Develop good working relationships with suppliers / partners and internal teams.
•Good PC and communication skills.

Skills Preferred:
Working knowledge of Releasing system (WERS) and Product Development System (GPDS) a distinct advantage.

Experience Required:
Candidates should have experience working in a Mechanical Engineering activity in the automotive sector Experience in base engine components and powertrain installation systems useful to the position.

Experience Preferred:
Experience in performance vehicle programs useful

Education Required:
Candidates must have a minimum of HND in Mechanical Engineering, ideally educated to Degree level.
