Main responsibilities:
  • Support of mechanical design in the field of water and wastewater networks/ water and wastewater treatment/conveyance/sludge treatment
  • Pump selection: dry pumps, submersible pumps, dosing pumps, sampling pumps
  • Selection of mechanical units for water and wastewater treatment plants: mixers, conveyors, sludge thickeners and centrifuge, dosing systems
  • Hydraulic calculations
  • Pipe and valve selection based on losses, velocity, diameter
  • Selection and design of mechanical components of hydraulic engineering: sluice gates, pen-stocks, lock gates, etc.                             
  • Cooperation with internal customers and engineers and designers across disciplines
  • Delivering projects in English
  • Participation in foreign business trips (up to 1 month) and short term assignments (up to 9 months)

The minimum qualifications for this position are:
Main requirements:
  • Master's degree in engineering field
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in construction and/or design
  • Basic Water Industry design experience (Water/Wastewater, Sanitary, Hydraulics) would be an asset
  • Experience/knowledge of design according to local and international design codes (UK, USA)
  • Very good skills in CAD software (at least one of following - Revit MEP, AutoCAD, AECOsim, OpenPlant)
  • Very good skills in Office suite (Word, Excel)
  • Awareness of industrial systems design (compressed air, vacuum, steam etc.) will be additional advantage
  • Communicative English
  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Motivation and enthusiasm to learn and develop
