Discrete Automation and Motion division provides products, solutions and related services that increase industrial productivity and energy efficiency. Its motors, generators, drives, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), power electronics and robotics provide power, motion and control for a wide range of automation applications.The leading position in wind generators and a growing offering in solar complement the industrial focus, leveraging joint technology, channels and operations platforms. In this division we are looking for a colleague into the department in Prague.

- Accountable for defining and implementing the local DM sales strategie.
- Ensuring that the Business Units wihin DM division substantially increases sales, margins, market share and customer satisfaction.
- Responsible for setting and reaching key targets (e.g. volumes, revenues, customer penetration and increasing market share, etc.)
- Responsible for creating, planning and implementing the sales mission, vision and strategy for the defined area locally, as well as budget and efficiency targets.
- Responsible for achieving assigned order intake, margin and related objectives for the entire product portfolio locally.
- Drives evaluation of potential new and existing markets and their needs and ensures proactive sales approach with a focus on solutions.
- Develops relationships with key stake holders. Responsible for planning and implementing customer surveys, analyzing and acting on the results in order to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Ensures that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Coaches, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.
- Drives and ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.

- University degree in Business Adm or Engineering subject.
- 10 years experience in Marketing & Sales, Business Development Manager roles is preferred.
- Fluent in English, fluency in additional languages is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a multinational environment and within a matrix organization.
- Flexible attitude towards local and international travel.
- Knowledge of the ABB division product portfolio and the organization is preferred.
- Proven good leadership, communication and strategic business skills.
- Previous experience in a same-field company is advantageous.
- Has a great desire to develop sales for the business.
