The Service department is responsible for service and maintenance of the wind farms within Scandinavia. The department has an open and informal culture, where team work and good communication is the key to our success.   • Electrical and mechanical operations
  • Maintaining and upgrading installation activities
  • Carrying out a diversity of check-ups, repairs and replacement activities of turbine components
  • Responsible for a frictionless operation of our turbines and use of our systems like Condition Monitoring / Remote Control
  • Creating follow-up orders

  • Completed electrical degree from a technical school/college/university
  • Mechanical experience
  • Hydraulic experience is an advantage
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience
  • Comfortable working at heights, coping with the respective challenges this brings
  • High level of Safety awareness
  • Willingness to travel to other sites when required
  • Fluency in Finnish and English
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office
  • Driver's license

You will be required to develop a detailed knowledge of our wind turbines to enable you to perform daily maintenance and other field service related tasks. Working to the highest safety and environmental standards whilst ensuring that service targets are met, you will be part of a team of technicians responsible for our wind turbines in Finland. Other duties will be to carry out periodic service inspections in accordance with Vestas specifications together with component replacement (both electrical and mechanical) and troubleshooting on the systems.

The successful candidates will have a proven track record in a mechanical and/or industrial electrical environment, be fluent in Finnish and speak/write English on an intermediate level. Experience from the energy sector, and in particular the wind industry, is a plus.

Additional information
This role is based at our sites in Metsälä, Siikainen, Pori, and Svalskulla / South Region. Starting point is our warehouse in Tiukka. Some travel is to be expected, particularly during the initial training period.
