Vestas SSC provides processing services to Vestas businesses around the world and we are looking for a new Team Lead to join the Invoice Resolution team.

The team is under Global Finance of Vestas Shared Services Centre. As part of Vestas Global Finance Shared Service Centre, the team is primarily responsible for providing resolution to invoices which has been parked or blocked. The job entails working with international stakeholders including external vendors, Vestas buying community and regional finance. The role entails proactive follow up on parked or blocked invoices as well as significant stakeholder engagements. The overall objective of the team is to secure on time payment towards the external vendor base.


  • Manage and supervise the Parked and blocked invoices relating to South and North America.
  • Structural follow ups with the vendor and buying community to secure that parked or blocked invoices are resolved in an efficient, timely and correct manner.
  • Supervise the coordination of off cycle payments with the payments team.
  • Monitoring the KPI's and PPI's for the team and if required take preventive and corrective actions, based on root cause analysis, in order to ensure that the KPI targets are met.
  • Accountable for the team performance and keeps the team responsible for individual performance.
  • Ensure execution of AP, AR and invoice resolution processes for own team is in accordance with the Vestas standards.
  • Secures that the team is trained in the processes applicable to the Invoice resolution area.
  • Identifies improvement opportunities by using facts to drive continues improvement in connection to process, people and tools.
  • Is in the driving seat towards the stakeholders to ensure a constructive and effective resolution dialogue.


  • An Accounting graduate
  • At least 2 years team lead/ supervisory experience, preferably in a shared service or business process outsourcing environment
  • At least 6 years combined experience in finance and accounting, 4 years of Invoice Processing and Invoice Resolution. It is preferable if the candidate has experience from working in the end-to-end AP process.
  • Strong track record to demonstrate SLA and KPI performance from the team.
  • Strong financial knowledge in SAP and especially the SAP Invoice Approval Workflow.
  • Well experienced in invoice resolution processes to resolve parked or blocked items.
  • Values follow ups and follow through


  • Good English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Possess strong leadership and people skills, with a tool box which included elements of coaching, mentoring and constructive feedback.
  • Analytic and familiar with working with pareto and impact analysis
  • Good in MS Office applications (MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Super User in SAP and the Invoice Approval Workflow
  • Flexible and willing to work on holidays as needed and on any shift as maybe assigned.
  • Independent and can work with minimal supervision - the candidate must have a drive for improvements and always meeting the targets.
  • Challenging mindset and not afraid to speak up and challenge status quo.
  • Professional attitude which can manage international stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is a strong advantage but not a firm requirement.
