Airswift Opportunity - Community Liaison Officer - Deer Park, TX- 24-months contract

Airswift has been tasked by one of our major O&G clients to seek a Community Liaison Officer to join them on a 24-months contract in Deer Park, TX.

Day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Provide primary point of contact for fence line neighbors and other stakeholders
  • Support ER Advisor on community inquiry management and follow up
  • Bring outside-in by doing proactive community sensing and socializing trends internally
  • Manage employee volunteer program
  • Support community engagement programs
  • Serve as representative for key community organizations with focus on the local, grassroots level
  • Follow up and close out community inquiries fielded by the Site Team Lead
  • Provide support and content for social media work and other targeted, local communications
  • Support delivery of annual Social Investment plan; serve as ER focal to the community for social investment grant system inquiries and guidance
  • Create and maintain site data/analytics dashboard on a quarterly basis; Serve as team focal for social performance-related IT tools
  • Manage External Relations promo items inventory and giveaways
  • Maintain team calendar and department contact list
  • Schedule meetings and events on behalf of manager
  • Daily administrative responsibilities include filing, ordering supplies, and maintaining departmental records

Previous education & experience required:

  • Proficiency in computer skills including MS Office / Office 365
  • SharePoint & Salesforce is a plus
  • Flexibility to attend stakeholder meetings during the evening and on weekends
  • Existing network of relationships across the Deer Park / Pasadena / La Porte / N. Channel landscape is advantageous; East Harris County residency preferred
  • 5 years of relevant work experience, including communications experience is a plus
  • Bi-lingual and/or proficient in Spanish is plus
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is a plus
