About the job:

As the SIMOPS Manager you will be responsible for a range of business critical task Including:

    As single point of accountability for SIMOPS Plan development and Bridging Document applicable for each identified SIMOPS area.Form SIMOPS Working Group and brief the scope of the foreseen SIMOPS activitiesLead or facilitate in the hazard identification and risk assessment including the identification of risk reductionManage required safety engineering studies (Emergency Evacuation Review, Management of additional PoB, Dropped Object, etc) to support SIMOPS plan developmentOrganize SIMOPS workshop and other required coordination meetingsReport SIMOPS management progress to SIMOPS Steering Committee regularlyReview and approve final SIMOPS Operating plan for construction, commissioning and start up phasesParticipate in the assurance review of both development project and operations professional family

Requirement:

To succeed in this role you must possess the following skills & experience:

    Bachelor's Degree in Engineering relatedAt least 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry in both onshore and/or offshore facilities.At least 10 years of experience and proven track record in project development / operations or HSE support for major activities (construction / commissioning / turn around).At least 2 years in managing SIMOPS both onshore and offshore.Practical experience of project execution / field operations, preferably offshoreBroad knowledge of construction / operations / field HSE support in the upstream businessExpert knowledge of HSE management systems and industrial HSE standards especially Safe System of Work Knowledge of associated technical/engineering disciplinesFamiliar with local industry regulations relating to the oil and gas industryEffective relationship-builder at all levels, internally and externallyEffective communicator both written and verbal
