The Cost Engineer will be supporting the Marine & Subsea Cost Team Lead.
Accountable for functional cost engineering activities, Marine & Subsea scopes of work executed in Baku as well as interfaces with the total Cost Team.
Review contractor's valuation in conjunction with pricing tables and latest contract amendments.
Prepare and submit monthly VOWD and review aged accruals.
Manage change process and allocating budget funds where applicable.
Prepare monthly internal cost package for review by delivery Managers and Leadership team.
Prepare 3 and 6 monthly detailed project re-forecasts of the control budget and present for review and approval.
Degree in Business, Economics or Engineering or similar discipline.
Minimum 5-10 years' experience in same or equivalent project role.
Good knowledge of cost engineering fundamentals including ability to manage project budgets, calculate VOWD/ Accruals.
Ability to provide robust in year, multi-year / full cycle cost phasing & forecasting.
Understanding of change management process and when to apply them.
Good communication skills, Written/Verbal English Membership or Chartered Status of a recognised professional body.
Proven track record of working with regional, functional and global project team members.
