The ABB Global Business Services - Information Systems organization (GBS IS) is a unique unit working on software development which supports business processes of the entire ABB organization. Everyday a team of over 450 developers, project managers and other specialists works on advanced IT solutions which improve efficiency of our company. Currently we are looking for candidates for a position of IS Functional Analyst - SAP Sales & Distribution to join our brand new Team. The Functional Analyst at ABB Group level provides the application module expertize in order to write functional specifications, configure the global and local systems and ensure requirements are complete for level 4 specialists (developer). Maintaining continuous integrity of functional configuration and system documentation in line with the process design whilst proactively suggesting application usability improvements are critical success factors to ensuring highest possible business operational excellence.

• Contribute to enhancing platform functional capabilities in order to support business process development;
• Build experience and competence of the usage of IS platform/application capabilities and features;
• Write functional specification in close collaboration with business analyst and/or business organisation stakeholders and as required support in gathering and documenting requirements;
• Perform system configurations to deliver the solution against functional specification, in cases where level 4 resources are not required to perform the tasks;
• Maintain system configuration documentation such as user guidelines following change releases;
• Develop concepts and material for training purposes for platform usage together with business analyst;
• Prepare training material and train on-boarding team as required;
• Build and maintain integration approaches between functional modules of the platform in close collaboration with other Functional Analysts;
• Work closely with Functional Analysts/Application Architects or Service Managers of other applications to ensure integrations can be developed and maintained with highest stability to avoid functional/data integration issues with downstream and upstream applications;
• Ensure complete and full functional requirements documentation to Level 4 resources (developer) and review/approve the technical design and solution via integration testing;
• Communicate system functional capability best practices;
• Actively participate in collaboration & sharing of knowledge;
• Proactively monitor function & feature usage effectiveness and work with continuous improvement of application usability.

• Configuration experience in SAP SD application module, approx. 2-3 years' experience in specialist function: Sales Order & Quotation Management, Pricing incl. tax, sales credits & commissions, Logistics Execution, Variant Configuration, Billing, ALE/EDI;
• Vistex (billbacks and chargebacks) and eCommerce experience;
• Integration experience to other SAP modules (FI, CO, MM, PP, PS & CS);
• Configuration experience in business scenarios covered in Dimensions;
• Proven process understanding within functional area;
• Fluent spoken and written English, other languages will be a plus;
• Bachelor's in technical or business discipline or equivalent experience;
• Thorough knowledge of IT service management concepts (ITIL) is a plus;
• Ability to promote a team environment.
