POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for the safe and economical maintenance of gas processing plants

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manages and directs all plant maintenance prescribed by Preventative Maintenance programs on all electrical and mechanical equipment within gas processing plants.
• Works with all positions at area plants, and outside contractors to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Approves scheduled yearly vacation for all assigned employees.
• Approve overtime for employees for most cost efficient operations.
• Directs and/or coordinates, assembles, installs, and maintains plant systems and related equipment.
• Oversees the day-to-day maintenance, operations and communicates with Operations Management daily with status.
• Ensures operational, maintenance, and repair files as required by regulatory agencies and corporate policies.
• Coordinates pipeline and plant operations with Plant Management and all third party facilities including scheduled downtime, outages, producer volumes and new facility startups
• Prepare, submit and manage operating budgets for the plants and related equipment
• Work with engineering to prepare, submit and manage capital budgets for the plants and related equipment.
• Ensure compliance at the facility with all federal, state and local regulations and requirments which include, OSHA, DEP, EPA, FERC, etc.
• Lead and develop maintenance staff for business continuity

EXPERIENCE:

Associate Degree or equivalent from two year college or technical school; or two years or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and education.

SUPERVISORY DUTIES:

In charge of facility maintenance.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Current valid driver's license required.

The employee frequently is required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently life and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions and with flammable liquids. The employee frequently works in high, precarious places and is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, acidic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and vibration.
