We are working alongside one of our leading oilfield service clients, who are looking for a number of Vessel Supervisors to support offshore operations in Denmark. You will initially be contracted for 3 months and working either 2 or 4 week rotations offshore...all relevant offshore certification must also be in date. 

As supervisor, you will be required to provide leadership and safely supervise the stimulation crew, ensuring the well stimulation equipment is operated and maintained in accordance with statutory requirements and client instructions.

  • Responsible for all stimulation related aspects of the day to day operation of the vessel and maintenance routines
  • Assists in the development of and implementation of action points from risk assessments with particular emphasis on informing, instructing and training employees
  • Ensure full awareness of, and compliance with, the requirements of all relevant COMPANY HSE handbooks, HSE procedures and emergency procedures
  • Actively ensures own and the health and safety of all fellow workers or other workers are preserved at all times
  • Co-ordination and supervision of the crew during planning, loading and moving to and from location
  • Ensures personnel are adequately trained and competent to carry out their duties and are made fully aware of hazards and that new employees do not undertake any task without appropriate induction training and instruction
  • Respond to Emergencies as directed by the Master/Captain and as detailed in the Emergency Response Manual
  • Ensures that all work activities are carried out by the correct method and with the correct tools and equipment
  • Updates Vessel Manager/Operations Coordinator as to the status of the vessel on a daily basis
  • Responsible for ensuring all lifting equipment used, Well Stimulation equipment and operations have appropriate certification and competent personnel undertake lifting operations in accordance with appropriate lifting plans
  • Implementation of the PMS for well stimulation and confers with maintenance personnel on equipment status to preclude unnecessary equipment down-time
  • Co-ordination and supervision of the employees on site while performing the job and assuring compliance with COMPANY safety requirements
  • Confers with Engineers to verify pumping schedule
  • Prepares Field Receipt and obtains COMPANY representative approval prior to pumping the job
  • Accurately and objectively reports job quality and crew performance. Takes appropriate action to correct less than good performance
  • All well stimulation equipment has appropriate certification
  • Prevents any operation or system of work where there is a risk of injury to employees
  • Ensures that a report is completed for all accidents, potential accidents, "near misses" or dangerous occurrences and that all such incidents are fully investigated and any remedial action recommended preventing a recurrence is complied with
  • Conducts pre-job briefings prior to all well stimulation service activities
  • Any other duties as necessary/assigned by Vessel Management
