Overview / Responsibilities
Wood is currently recruiting for an Electrical Supervisor to be based at SAGE Gas Terminal, St Fergus on an ongoing basis

The Stand-in Electrical Supervisor will have demonstrated a high degree of technical competence and will be expected to perform all related tasks with the minimum supervision. Is competent and contributes to the overall team effort through positive attitude and accomplishments.
  • Deputises for the Electrical Supervisor
  • Plan, lead, organise and control defined maintenance discipline
  • Ensure technician training requirements are maintained
  • Assure technician competence - conduct occasional field observations
  • Support management & corporate objectives at a technician level
  • Trained in ISSOW & Isolation Authority Electrical (IAE)
  • Senior Authorised Person Electrical
  • Review & endorse maintenance work schedules/plans
  • Conduct daily worksite visits verifying work safety and quality
  • Conduct regular reviews of task Toolbox Talks (TBT), ensuring competency of individuals
  • Ensure procedures are available to the technicians and that procedures are current
  • Understand the department budget planning cycle and monitor the assigned Budget Responsible Owner (BRO) budget line items
  • Control maintenance costs in line with budgetary requirements
  • Liaise with Maintenance Engineers
  • Manage discipline MOC compliance
  • Prepare for, and participate in meetings as required
  • Participate in HSE and technical risk assessments


Skills / Qualifications
City and Guilds/Vocational Qualification

Completed recognised apprenticeship or equivalent certified training program

S/NVQ level 3 vocational qualification (desired)
