NOV Pipex design, manufacture and install composite piping solutions. Servicing a wide range of industries, which includes, Oil & Gas, Rail, Waste Water and Naval applications, bespoke systems are produced and installed to suit the customer's requirements. Our division in Plymouth, are now recruiting for an Engineer with a Mechanical background to join our team. This will be a full time position with a planned start date in September 2019. Supported by the Engineering Manager you will be exposed to various projects that will include industries such as Marine, Offshore and Oil & Gas. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an industry leading business and develop your practical engineering design experience.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide engineering support across Process Piping applications with an emphasis on isometric production and stress analysis.
• Draft designs and reports as required for review by the EM;
• Under the direction of the EM correct Designs for Client review;
• Draft Technical Documentation for EM approval;
• Complete NOV Pipex px® Software, Technical and General training as required.
• Carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by line manager

• Working towards a 2.1 BEng in a Mechanical Engineering discipline or equivalent

Experience:

• Composite piping

Skills, training or special knowledge

• Computer literacy

• Experience in 3D CAD e.g. Autodesk Inventor

• Analytical software e.g. Caesar II
