Overview / Responsibilities
Wood is currently recruiting for a NOC Coordinator to be worked on our PMC onshore pipeline project in Dubai.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following

  • Coordination with the Client dealings (both internal and external) and liaise with all government offices and service authorities in Pakistan for all technical queries and issues.
  • Liaise with all relevant Agencies/Authorities and Client team to obtain necessary approvals and NOCs.
  • Attend site kick-off and co-ordination meetings and provide support during construction NOC for site issues.
  • Manage progress of drawings and specification for NOCs.
  • Support project team in seeking approvals.
  • Track utilities NOCs and ensure all of them are completed on time.
  • Monitor project schedules regularly to determine any delays or deviations.
  • Track project progress and ensure all project activities are completed on-time.
  • Assess potential issues and technical challenges and accordingly develop resolutions.
  • Assist in project design and development activities.
  • Participate in project design meetings and recommend improvements if needed.
  • Coordinate and collect information from relevant Agencies, third party consultants and contractors for all technical queries and issues, to prepare weekly and monthly reports, as well as design drawings for management and clients.
  • Learn and practice Wood Quality and Safety procedures and processes.
  • Attend project meetings and follow-up with outstanding tasks.
  • Analyze and resolve project issues in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Coordinate with management in developing project scope, plan, deliverables, budget and milestones.
  • Completes additional duties as assigned.

Skills / Qualifications

  • A bachelors degree in Civil engineering would be prefered
  • Having minimum 8-10 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proven experience in dealing and liaising with government authorities in Pakistan.
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work cooperatively with others, a great team player.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of this work.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite software - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Explorer.
    Good attention to detail.
