The turnaround organization is looking for specific individuals who are self motivated, and able to assist unit operators with shutting down and decontaminating the unit. Demonstrating the ability to take ownership of a unit system after it has been shutdown and decontaminated.
You will be part of the turnaround Operations team responsible for issuing Safe Work Permits to the Upgrader turnaround organization for all of the turnaround activities on systems assigned to you.
In addition you will be assisting base plant operations with isolating and decontaminating equipment. Included in the decontamination phase will be taking samples.
The successful applicants will work in the Base plant T/A Operations Organization until the systems are mechanically complete and handed back to base plant Operations. Working in a participating environment you will be accountable for the safe, clean and efficient operation of your assigned area. Your responsibilities will include monitoring turnaround contractors with a focus on safety.

Steam Ticket - any class, First-Aid/CPR trained, H2S Awareness, Fall Arrest, Confined Space Entry Trained
