Position Description
The Information Security Architect provides IT security direction, strategy and design for Saudi Aramco's technology directorate. This role requires individuals with a broad knowledge in all areas of IT security, and is suited to those who are self-managing and take ownership of their areas of responsibility. This role requires both senior stakeholder management and subject matter expert engagement; therefore effective communication and documentation skills are a key requirement. The information security architect is responsible for analyzing information security systems and applications, and recommending and developing security measures to protect information against unauthorized data modification or loss.

Minimum Requirements
A. EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical degree
B. EXPERIENCE: Minimum ten (10) years in computing environment.

LANGUAGE: Thoroughly proficient in both verbal and written English.

Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will perform the following activities:
1. Consultancy work across a wide portfolio of projects offering security design advice and guidance.
2. Develop and manage Security strategy, roadmap, and organizational model.
3. Involvement in Enterprise and technical security architectures.
4. Development and delivery of Security Nonfunctional Requirements that will be used to help shape IT solutions.
5. Evaluate and assess information security program, solutions, and organizational posture.
6. Stays current with security technologies and threats and make recommendations on business value.
7. Capture and develop best practice processes and methodologies to assist implementations and drive operational excellence.
8. Advise executive management on Information Security issues, systems, processes, products, and services.
