Job Title:

RIS Technical Support Engineer

Main accountabilities:

• Ensure that all activities are in compliance with company QHSE policies.

• Ensure that ROV crews are completing the physical maintenance as well as the database records.

• Provision of technical solutions to improve equipment operation and address reliability issues when required.

• Responsible for setting and implementing standards for Asset Management System used throughout RIS.

• Participate in "on call duty rota" out with office hours.

• Initiate and coordinate the creation, publication and implementation of up to date maintenance procedures.

• Conduct periodic vessel visits to audit systems and compliance with maintenance schedules and standards.

• Provide assistance and information for ROV training courses where applicable.

• Operational and technical support to the RIS department, onshore and offshore.

• Liaise with workshop and ensure repairs and spares are provided in a timely manner.

• Supporting ROV Services

• On demand technical support to offshore teams including fault finding / diagnosis, testing, repairs, liaison with key OEM technical teams.

Qualifications (professional, technical, academic):

Essential: HND or equivalent in technical area

Preferred: Degree in technical area

Typical background and experience required:


• Minimum of 5 years in a similar role

• Recognised trade qualification

• Offshore survival and medical certificates

Nice to have:

• Offshore ROV operational experience
