Overview / Responsibilities
Wood is currently recruiting for an Instrument Maintenance Technician to join the team on a core basis on TAQA North Cormorant, 2/3 Rotation.

Main duties:
  • C arry out preventative, planned and remedial maintenance as described in client's maintenance management system work instructions.
  • Plan and prepare all paperwork including risk assessments and permits, to complete the maintenance tasks.
  • Responsible for carrying out Isolations in a competent manner, complying with Safety Management System and legislative requirements.
  • Responsible for weekly monitoring checks on safety and production critical equipment, reporting any deviation of set parameters and raise work orders in client's maintenance management system.
  • Carry out major services, overhauls and intrusive maintenance on platform equipment.
  • Carry out fault finding and diagnostic checks on all platform equipment, ensuring any repairs are addressed promptly.
  • Carry out inspections on all portable equipment and complete relevant paperwork.
  • Ensure critical spares are available and any discrepancies are addressed
  • Provide technical instruction and guidance to ad hoc personnel and new team members

Skills / Qualifications
  • Level 3 VQ - Maintaining Plant & Systems - Instrument & Controls
  • Survival / MIST
  • Compex
  • Maintaining Small Bore Tubing
  • Offshore oil and gas or relevant industry experience
