Overview / Responsibilities
Wood has an opportunity for Technical Safety Engineer to work in our St. John's office.

Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
  • Completing Technical Safety engineering work to meet client requirements and specifications
  • Preparing cost estimates and tracking project progress
  • Originating Technical Safety engineering documents
  • Ensuring all HSEQ requirements are met within the Technical Safety discipline in accordance with Wood procedures and management systems
  • Offshore travel on an as-needed basis to complete surveys
  • Participation in HAZOPs and HAZIDs


Skills / Qualifications
Candidates should possess the following qualifications :
  • Engineering Degree and Professional Engineer registered (or eligible for registration) with the Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of Newfoundland and Labrador
  • Advanced computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft office tools - Word/Excel/Powerpoint to advanced template creation and document/data management level would be considered an asset
