Overview / Responsibilities
Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Support Engineer to support our clients Offshore operation. Focus will be day to day operations and TAR planning.

Skills / Qualifications
Substantial experience as a Maintenance Engineer with an Oil or Petro-Chemical background.

Experience profile will comprise the all of the following skills:
  • Selection and use of Maintenance Strategies including an understanding of Reliability Modelling, RCM, FMEA and criticality techniques in general
  • Evidence of an expertise such as maintaining Rotating Machines, Instruments, or Electrical equipment
  • Understanding of CBM
  • Able to understand and implement complex plans and resourced work schedules
  • Albe to innovate; utilise tools, techniques, processes or equipment which are successfully used in other contracts which can be successfully applied to maintenance Acceptable: - Substantial experience as a Maintenance Engineer or Reliability Engineer in a relevant process industry with the majority of the above experience elements. In particular experience of application of maintenance tools and techniques. Oil and gas industry experience is desirable A range of academic qualifications is acceptable particularly when they are combined with longer and relevant work experience. Weighting should be given to an individuals actual experience and personnel qualities over their academic achievement, but there must be evidence of continued personal development by the individual
