About the Role
This position is a full time role

Providing a fantastic opportunity to come and learn about Gas System Operator! Within this role, you will work with colleagues and customers to design and develop Management Information & Performance Indicators to help direct and inform business experts and process owners; this will be achieved using various visualisation tools, e.g. Tableau. Ad-hoc data to support one-off analysis and enduring data support will also form part of the role, the current tool set comprises of Tableau, Excel and bespoke tools. Having a passion for and being able to understand business data, data structures, and visualisation techniques are strong requirements for this role.

Key Accountabilities
  • Design, develop and deliver performance indicators that enable the process owners and departments to drive process improvements
  • Liaise with Business experts and process owners to inform and advise on the information and logic that can be applied to transform data into business intelligence
  • Create and compile programming code and visualisations to ensure that agreed measures:
    • Clearly convey the behaviours being driven
    • Are based on a consistent methodology
    • Can be effectively produced and automated as part of a programme of performance measures.
  • Knowledge sharing and coaching junior members of the team
What You'll Get
You will receive a competitive salary between £32,000 - £41,000, dependant on experience.

As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%. You will also have access to a number of flexible benefits
About You
You will be someone who can build lasting, professional and mutually beneficial relationships; the role will require actively meeting and discussing requirements with customers and, therefore, excellent customer focus and stakeholder management skills are required.

Managing multiple workloads and going beyond to satisfy the customer will become a regular activity so multi-tasking, time management, ability to prioritise, proactive and flexibility will need to be demonstrable skills.

Experience in developing Performance Indicators to aid Business decision and direction, and significant experience in extracting and manipulating large data sets, ability to quickly understand data sets and hierarchies, is essential.

Experience of Tableau, SQL are essential VBA, and Excel are desirable.
