Job profile summary:
This role will support HRIS Portfolio Managers and Business Analysts in providing operational support on employee Reward solutions. This role will provide analytical support to the oversight of BP's employee Reward solutions globally. This role will support ongoing technical, project and operational support activities to the Reward solutions we operate. The role will involve working closely with our Reward CoE, and other parts of the business to help coordinate and improve Reward solutions.
  • Assisting with gathering requirements, configuration, and testing of Reward systems
  • Manipulating data, carrying out system configuration and monitoring data feeds to the solutions.
  • Working with team members within HRIS, HR Operations & Reward teams both in the UK and across the global network.

  • Working with team members within HRIS, HR Operations & Reward teams both in the UK and across the global network.
Key Accountabilities
Provide technical operational support for the Reward solutions; working closely with the Reward CoE teams to resolve system issues and implement changes effectively, ensuring operational performance is maintained, according to the agreed change management processes;
  • Work with external service providers and internal technical teams to ensure the development and delivery of solutions to end users is to the highest standard and quality.
  • Work closely with the portfolio managers to implement continuous improvements to the solutions to improve the efficiency, and effectiveness of the systems and simplify their operation
  • Support configuration, testing and deployment of any agreed solutions for Reward and between Foundational HR system infrastructure and external systems and interfaces.
  • Supporting the maintenance of HRIS operational and technical documentation including technical and functional specifications, process maps, test plans and training materials.
  • Provide accurate and timely support to Business Analysts, prioritising and managing conflicting demands
Essential Education
Degree level education or equivalent, with analytical skills and ability to understand financial remuneration

Technical Capability
  • Able to triage and provide basic advice, and knows when to seek support from senior colleagues
  • Digital fluency - strong systems and computer skills and experience across full spectrum of Office programmes and analytical support tools
  • Numeracy & analytical thinking - able to quickly and effectively generate and analyse a range of data to provide accurate and timely information to inform business decisions
  • Risk Management - acts with high level of integrity and respect for data privacy. Takes steps to mitigate against risks in this space and knows when to escalate any concerns
Business Capability
  • Ability to manage a varied workload prioritising conflicting demands.
  • Solutions focus - seeks to identify solutions and make improvements to processes which will add value to the business and enhance ways of working
  • Relationship management - Ability to build and maintain relationships with Reward CoE. Is building and applying skills in active listening and is able to communicate effectively (written and verbal)
  • Business acumen & customer focus- keeps up to date with internal and external context, seeks to understand the relationship between their activity and the local business drivers. Aware that HR is an enabler of the business and seeks to ensure HR solutions lead to enhanced business

  • Applies judgment and common sense- able to use insight and good judgement to inform actions taken and ensure solutions are pragmatic

  • Works well independently and as a member of the team, proactively providing support to colleagues
