Engie have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Plasterer/Multi-skilled Operative to be based at College Road, Birmingham, B44 0AY.

This is a fixed term full time role commencing 5th August 2019 to 5th August 2021. Working Monday - Friday. On offer is a salary in line with the National Minimum Wage relevant to the age of the person.
General Overview:

The successful applicants will achieve to become a fully trained Multi Trader to the standard laid down by the C.I.T.B. and Trade Unions and achieve the National Vocational Qualification NVQ2. The apprentice multi trades persons will be site based 4 days per week, plus 1 day per week day release at South and City College, Bordesley Green . The successful candidates will be expected to travel by their own means to other site offices in and around Northampton and to understand, implement and adhere to Engie SHEQ requirements whilst working within a small friendly team.

This role reports into the Site Manager / Multi Trader / Trades Supervisor.

Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:



To assist and carry out project defined multi trade work to a high standard as directed by the Site Manager; including:
  • Plumbing
  • Carpentry
  • Painting and Decorating
  • Material co-ordination
  • Adhere to Company quality standards to include:
  • Compliance with specification / Compliance with materials and workmanship
  • To attend all relevant training courses including all SHEQ courses arranged by the employer including Tool Box Talks
  • Making repairs and restoring damaged parts
  • Maintain and care for all company tools
  • Wear appropriate clothing and PPE specific to tasks
  • Ensure all areas of work are left clean and tidy at the end of the working day
