Do you have a broad functional understanding and technical know-how of wind turbine technology? Are you ready to take on new challenges where you will be responsible for the technical aspect in bid and negotiation phases of sales projects?
Our new Turbine Specialist will join our newly-established office in Tokyo, Japan. 
Tasks & responsibilities: You will...
...prepare, manage and lead the technical negotiations in sales projects by diving into the different technical areas of the wind turbine. You will conduct review of Employers Requirements and ensure compliance between the requirements and turbine technology by having a thorough understanding of the wind turbine. You will actively engage in customer negotiations and in creating client value proposition by developing conceptual ideas and mature these to enhance the product portfolio and add value to the client's business case. 
Furthermore, you will participate in ensuring the integrity between cross-organisational functions in Sales and Technology. 
To fulfil the above-mentioned responsibilities, you can expect the following tasks: 
  • Sales project scrutiny
  • Manage technical WTG (Wind Turbine Generator) clarification
  • Employers Requirements review
  • Technology input in bid and negotiation phases
  • Create client value proposition
Skills & experience: Our new colleague...
...holds a bachelor's or master's degree in an engineering discipline, e.g. structural, mechanical or electrical. You have interdisciplinary electrotechnical, mechanical and structural experience and thrive in a role where you will work internationally with diversified engineering teams. We expect that you have wind turbine and BoP (Balance of Plant) knowledge and that you are eager to develop your interdisciplinary knowledge even further. 
We expect that you: 
  • Have experience with technology contract application
  • Have wind industry experience/skills
  • Have good English and preferably also Japanese language skills
  • Are extrovert
  • Can clarify complex technologies
  • Have in-depth knowledge of regulative regimes
