We are currently seeking an experienced Investment Advisor to join the Chemicals Business Strategy & Development Department. The successful applicant will have worked in Investment Banking or Management Consulting in support of the evaluation and execution of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), restructuring, divestitures and raising capital in leading international companies. The candidate shall have been involved with conducting industry research and analysis, analyzing financial statements, building financial models, running valuations, preparing related company information briefs (teasers), information memoranda (IM) for corporate management and other marketing materials. He or she shall have been involved with all aspects of transactions including strategy development, due diligence, valuation, structuring of the transactions and participation in proponent and investor meetings. This also includes experience in building presentations and materials for corporate management. This experience shall have involved working on international projects along with interfacing routinely with international companies. The candidate should have an advanced level of experience in building and operating detailed financial models considering all possible scenarios and sensitivities.

Minimum Requirements
As a successful candidate you will hold a Bachelors' degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Engineering or its equivalent. Advanced professional competence evidenced by professional licenses and other forms of continuing professional education is advantageous

You will have 5 + relevant years experience in business; be highly knowledgeable in business development, mergers, and acquisitions, and will have solid experience in specific venturing activities such as commercialization, spin-offs or joint venturing

Duties and Responsibilities
You will build an infrastructure of analytical, valuation and decision-making tools to support the evaluation of acquisition opportunities. Value public and private companies, and business units using Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) analysis, trading and transaction comparables, sum of the parts, and other valuation methodologies. Evaluate acquisition target debt capacity, and preliminary financing structures. Assess acquisition opportunities in the context of the company's overall downstream strategy. Evaluate industry trends, including market characterization and competitive assessment. Prepare presentations and briefing materials to support the internal review of strategic opportunities.
