Are you looking to work for a renewable operator with a 10 year future project pipeline?

Our client, an international leading diversified renewable energy operator, with project locations worldwide, develops, builds and operates offshore wind farms along the coasts of several European countries. Their extensive project pipeline includes wind farms totalling over 5GW.

Working with our client, you’ll experience first hand the development of new technologies, construction process and a first class company culture, coupled with a company vision that seeks to empower its contractors and facilitate both business and personal growth

Currently, they are looking for a Planner to join their business.

  • Ensuring that own work is carried out in adherence to the existing scheduling standards and processes that are established to support the development and construction of wind offshore projects.
  • Developing blueprint work, break down structures and project master schedules for the wind offshore team.  A schedule is likely to be in excess of 50,000 activities.
  • Providing project planning (scheduling) support to the project teams
  • Manage the project schedules in accordance with the project work breakdown structure; ensure that project schedules are developed and updated to support Three Point Estimating and Earned Value Management
  • Ensure that standard Project Planning requirements are met, understood and embedded from both Contractor and Sub-Contractors into the client's systems
  • Producing planning reports for input into the monthly reporting process
  • Carrying out risk analysis, weather downtime analysis and delay mitigation analysis
  • Experience in planning elements of large construction projects (such as offshore wind, power, oil and gas companies or general engineering consultancies) in multi-discipline teams.
  • Experience in working in a team of planners.
  • Extensive knowledge of the software tools Primavera (V7 or later) and MS Project
  • Experience in running Quantitative Risk Assessment with Oracle Primavera Risk Assessment software
  • Proactive and self-driven approach with good interpersonal skills
  • Experience in contributing planning detail to reports in a clear and concise manner which can then be understood and utilised by the project teams.
  • Fluent English (oral and writing)
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Experience of planning offshore or marine construction works would be an advantage
