Job Summary
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Project HSE Specialist to join our team in Leeds. Our Project HSE Specialist is responsible for assisting in the development of Project Execution strategies, processes & procedures and liaising with the customers with regard to Project HSE requirements. You will provide technical HSE support to the regional project teams during the execution of projects. You will also identify and review HSE requirements for tenders, proposals and contracts, providing tender deliverables as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the development of Project Execution strategies, processes & procedures
  • Assist with financial, technical & resource planning to manage Project HSE costs to maximize value to OneSubsea
  • Assist in developing preliminary Cost / Time / Resources (CTRs) tables based on tender proposal for budgeted cost, manpower allocation & activity scheduling
  • Identify project Resources & Manpower requirements for regional projects
  • Identify Company HSE requirement on tenders, proposals and contracts to be executed in the region
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, regulatory agencies, and local authorities
  • Uphold the SLB and OneSubsea HSE requirements & promote a culture of Continual Improvement on all projects
  • Identify & monitor compliance with contractual, country specific legal & regulatory requirements for projects
  • Coordinate Pre-Planning of Safety in Design and Hazard Identification

  • NEBOSH General Certificate
  • Auditor Training - OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001 / ISO 14001
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills:
  • Customer service and quality oriented individual
  • Experience of managing HSE systems: (e.g. OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001 / ISO 14001)
  • Working knowledge of local and international laws, regulations, codes, standards, and best industry practices for HSE (e.g. ISO, IOGP, NORSOK, UKOOA, API, ASME, ASSE, etc).
  • Strong time management and organisation skills.
