Job Description

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

•Represent Forum as First Point of Contact for Sales of Forum's Subsea Products and Services.
•Establish good channels of communication with new and existing customers to maximize opportunities to provide proposals for our products in the region.
•Respond to all customer enquiries, either directly, through the Customer Service Representative or with support from product line headquarters, within an acceptable timescale and with the required level of commercial scrutiny.
•Quotations and Proposals must be submitted in accordance with customer expectations and provided with a clear and professional covering letter or email.
•Each opportunity should be logged, followed up and monitored such that the customer has clarity on what is being offered and any technical or commercial shortcomings are qualified and, if possible, revised.
•Any reasons for loss of a sale should be reported to product line leaders.
•Provide detailed presentations and demonstrations of Forum products to customers.
•Provide weekly reports to Operations Manager - AP on opportunities, issues and accomplishments.
•Represent Forum Subsea at various trade shows, exhibitions, conferences etc.
•Travel within region to meet with customers as and when required.
•Meet regularly with local customers and other industry professionals to gather market intelligence and to build a network of contacts providing this information.
•Identify potential partners within the region and assist in developing commercial agreements with those partners. Once arrangement has been established, support, monitor and maximize potential of partnership.

Accountabilities: (Deliverables)

•Responsible for Sales of ROV, Components, Tooling and VisualSoft products.
•Reporting as instructed by the Operations Manager and Global Business Director.
•To achieve annual revenue growth in line with agreed business plan and budget.
•To understand key IRM, Survey and Construction contracts within the region and implement strategies to target key contractors for each.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

•Degree in an IT, Electrical/Electronic or Survey related field (Desirable)

Experience:

• Track record of sales to ROV operators / IRM / EPC contractors. (Essential)
• Knowledge of contracting models in the AP region. (Essential)
• Knowledge ROVs and subsea sensors and tools. (Essential)
• Knowledge of subsea survey, inspection and construction operations. (Essential)

Key Skills:

•Self-motivated and target orientated team player (Essential)
•Good reporting and communication skills are essential (Essential)
•Adaptable and proactive at learning new technical skills (Essential)
•Adaptable and proactive to learning new software packages both as a Forum product and internal systems such as stock control, CRM etc. (Essential)
•Excellent presentation skills (Essential)

HSE Competencies:

•Maintain behaviour in compliance with Forum HSE requirements
•Maintain responsibility and accountability through personal commitment and behaviour
•Report any unsafe or environmentally unsound acts and conditions to their immediate Supervisor such that remedial action can be taken to manage the risk.
