ENGIE are recruiting for an Innovative Maintenance Manager to be Home Based, preferably within South East area. This is a permanent full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, bonus and benefits package.

General Overview:
Engie is looking for Innovative Maintenance Manager to develop and own new and existing maintenance strategies and models and embed these within Hard Facilities Management Contracts. Candidate will identify opportunities to innovate on existing Hard FM contracts, and develop new methods of maintenance, including but not limited to:
  • Condition Based Maintenance (Thermal Imagining, Vibration Analysis & Ultrasonic Testing)
  • Business Focussed Maintenance
  • Risk Based Maintenance
  • Predictive Maintenance
  • Reliability Centred Maintenance
  • The utilisation of IoT and Smart Buildings capabilities to develop "Smart Maintenance"

The Candidate will Ensure correct governance and review processes are followed at a contract/portfolio level, and ensure emerging trends are identified and actioned accordingly. The Candidate will develop, deliver and support in house training for operational Management and Engineers, promoting ownership of the maintenance strategy and its continuing development and improvement e.g. self-delivery of CBM, monthly and annual reviews of maintenance strategy effectiveness etc.

Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:
  • Carry out Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) activities on existing customer sites, as required under Maintenance Contracts.
  • Develop Case Studies and Sales material to be presented across the ENGIE UKBU, selling CBM Services, developing the delivery portfolio.
  • Work with the BES Division's Asset Management team to ensure an integrated approach to innovative maintenance strategies and Asset Management.
  • Continue the development and implementation of ENGIE's 24/Forever Critical Engineering Model, with a focus on maintenance strategy ensuring maximum value whilst still achieving uptime assurance for our Customers.
  • Develop and lead ENGIE's Predictive and Reliability Centred Maintenance strategy.
  • Work closely with operational and other business teams to put in place the appropriate standards, systems, processes and ways of working to deliver excellence in engineering.
  • Work closely with the C3ntinel Energy Management team to develop and utilise Energy Monitoring software to deliver Hard Services planned and reactive cost reductions and increased visibility and resilience of critical infrastructures.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest innovations and developments in engineering as they apply to the built environment and the provision of energy services.
  • Identify and build relationships with innovative Engineering SMEs and develop proposals to be presented to BES Technical Leaders regarding the implementation of these new technologies.
  • Work autonomously, managing workload as required to fulfil objectives and contractual requirements.

Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience:
  • Educated to HNC/HND or Degree level in engineering or equivalent through experience
  • Relevant Trade Qualifications or Apprenticeship
  • 17th/18th Edition Wiring Regs
  • City and Guilds 236 A&B (2360 parts 1 and 2) or equivalent.
  • City & Guilds 2394 / 2395 or 2391 Electrical Testing & Inspection
  • Understanding of Electrical Test and Inspection documentation
  • Experienced in the requirements and use of SFG20
  • Experienced in the use of various CAFM systems
  • Experienced of interpreting and analysing asset data (planned and reactive)
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of working in the M&E, FM and TFM environments
  • Proficient at drafting technical and investigative reports, preferably with root cause analysis experience
  • Commercially experienced with a good understanding of Hard Services contract models and an appreciation of the major risks associated with each
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio etc.)
  • First Aid training
  • Permit to Work, Risk Assessment and Method Statement training or experience
  • Familiarity with relevant regulatory, legislative requirements and British Standards as applicable
  • Member of a relevant Institution (advantageous)
  • Thermal Imagining training (advantageous)
  • Vibration Analysis training (advantageous)
  • Root cause analysis training (advantageous)
