Overview / Responsibilities
Wood is looking to bring in an Associate Maintenance Engineer - CMMS in its Aberdeen office.

Support the Maintenance Department and Project Teams in the development of complex Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Asset Register and Maintenance Program data builds, data cleansing and optimisation projects.
Support the CMMS Data Team, improving performance, capability and growth of the CMMS data business and the use of Integrated Maintenance Database (IMD).
Executing assigned scopes of work.

  • Execute assigned personal objectives with direct guidance and supervision
  • Adhere to and comply with relevant discipline specific OMS and customer procedures in execution of work activities. Provide feedback for continuous improvement of procedures, if applicable
  • Ensure self-awareness of relevant regulatory framework, legislation changes, initiatives and industry technology developments
  • Clearly communicate any identified improvements to service execution to project assigned Team Leads
  • Effective delivery of assigned work scopes in accordance with applicable OMS or client Process and

  • Growth and scope expansion of Wood. CMMS data service and the use of the IMD
  • Work scope delivered compliant to defined standards and meeting / exceeding Wood. and client expectations
  • Attain and sustain Associate Maintenance Engineer competency profile
  • Wood. seen as a world leading provider in innovative CMMS data and technological solutions

Skills / Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
  • BSc, B.Eng, HNC, HND or equivalent in applicable maintenance discipline
  • Or
  • NVQ or equivalent trade-based qualification with suitable experience in maintenance and / or CMMS data development work
Minimum Experience
  • Demonstrable balance of industrial experience at relevant level and position

Discipline Specific

  • Be familiar with engineering documentation (e.g. P&ID's, SLD's, PFD's etc.)
  • Assign equipment specific "Tag" numbers to asset items in accordance with applicable procedures
  • Develop, review and modify asset register hierarchical structures in accordance with applicable procedures
  • Assign resources and supporting activities required to undertake specified maintenance activities
  • Apply maintenance criticality assessment to asset systems and equipment items
