Job Title:
Offshore Personnel Lead

Job Purpose:

To support the Offshore Personnel Logistics Coordinators and provide a responsive customer service focal point for Asset Operations and the population under their repsonsibility for all personnel logisitics matters.
To oversee the supply of the right number of competent people are in the right place at the right time.

Directly supervises:
Offshore Personnel Logistics Coordinator

Asset Operations, Projects, Offshore Workforce, Agencies

Job Scope (budget, management, specific criteria):

Main accountabilities:

• Supervision and mentoring of Offshore Personnel Logistics Coordinators (OPLC) ensuring that customer focus is maintained
• Provide a focal point and responsive customer service for Asset Operations and offshore workforce within assigned asset stream / population
• Responsible for ensuring agreed manning levels are met and maintained for allocated asset stream / population
• Oversee and support the Offshore Personnel Coordinators with short-term crewing gaps
• Mid to Long-term planning of crew in conjunction with Asset Operations, OMT and other Leads
• Highlight any resourcing needs to the Offshore Personnel Lead Supervisor
• Responsible for allocation of Personnel Request Forms (PRF) ensuring appropriately coordinated in a timely manner
• Assist with the sourcing of suitably experienced personnel from within the pool to meet operational requirements
• Ensure vessel schedules are regularly maintained within crew management systems
• Accountable for compliance of personnel mobilised to assigned worksites
• Keeping operations function informed of changes on Asset Corporate Schedule and update crew management system as required
• Perform Payroll checks in line with payroll timetable, including expenses, per diems and any adjustments
• Liaise with Visa Specialist on upcoming projects to ensure visas and other immigration related documentation are in place in good time
• Ensure accuracy of data maintained at all times for data reporting, incl. forecast recovery report
• Review forecast days recovery report in conjunction with Asset Operations to maximise utilisation and highlighting any areas of concern
• Review department KPI's and ensure targets are met and maintained for assigned stream / population
• Provide support to the Offshore Personnel Lead Supervisor
• Conduct weekly team meetings
Any other tasks as directed by the Offshore Personnel Lead Supervisor

Qualifications (professional, technical, academic):


• SVQ qualification level 3 or above
• Supervisory Skills training
• Communication Skills


• Customer service training

Typical background and experience required:


• Minimum of 2yrs personnel logisitics experience
• Mature, credible, confident and able to work effectively in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• An analytical nature with an ability to challenge constructively and identify new ways of working
• Self-motivated, results-orientated with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality performance
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly with on the job training and support
• Effective team player

Nice to have:

• Supervisory experience
• Offshore oil and gas industry experience
• Geographical awareness
