Role synopsis:
  • The country Workshop Activation Executive supports the execution of the Marketing programmes in the Branded workshop (Castrol Auto Service & Bike Point), Franchise Workshop & Independent Workshop in the specified market to help deliver volume, turnover and gross margin targets.
  • The position reports to the Country Activation Manager, working closely with the Consumer and Trade Activation team in country and will support the effective delivery of programs in country.

Key accountabilities:
  • Support the execution of world class Branded workshop (CAS & Bike Point), FWS & IWS marketing plans across all brands in market. Adapts and adopts Cluster workshop offers as part of execution of in-market marketing plans. This requires developing a key interface with sales on operational issues.
  • Supports the preparation of the annual marketing plan for the Branded workshop (CAS & Bike Point), FWS & IWS to ensure that Dealer Penetration, volume, turnover and gross margin targets are met.
  • Optimise Branded workshop (CAS & Bike Point), FWS & IWS offers cross brand activities by working closely with Brand, PR & Sponsorship teams and with Sales for programme implementation
  • Monitor implementation of programmes as per consumer & trade marketing plans to ensure on time, within budget delivery and adequate return on investments.
  • Monitor Pricing execution in the Branded workshop (CAS & Bike Point), FWS & IWS channel as per Pricing Strategy
  • Develop and implement a systematic approach through the embedding of relevant OMS elements and ensuring appropriate risk reviews are undertaken appropriately.
  • Understand, embed within the team and fulfil agreed specific Product Quality & Compliance accountabilities.

Key challenges faced on the role:

  • Ensuring a close linkage with Branded workshop (CAS & Bike Point), FWS & IWS Sales teams to ensure close collaboration
  • Need to understand the Branded workshop (CAS & Bike Point), FWS & IWS needs and value drivers in workshop channel
  • Federal behaviours and compliance are critical to ensure we can optimize our growth opportunities in markets through appropriate route to market.

The job holder will provide support in the completion of the Marketing Plan, and provide input and output for the following planning purposes:

  • Lubricants Business Management Demand, Vulnerability and Opportunity Planning
  • Brand and Channel Plans
  • Marketing plans and Advertising and Sales Promotion investment plan

Essential Education:
  • University degree in Marketing or equivalent experience

Essential experience and job requirements:
  • Substantial experience in Marketing
  • Experience in B2B and B2C marketing activation
  • Experience in disciplined marketing campaign execution
  • Experience of working with agencies across multiple channels and countries
  • Experience of working in a matrix organization
  • Lubricants experience desirable but not essential
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
