\n Position Overview
\n Warehouse Technician will be responsible for the receipt of material into the system (SAP) Picking of production orders and service orders per system generated pick lists, Issuing of material to relevant orders, stocking material and performing transactions to book material in. Transfer of material to assigned storage locations and bins, daily cycle counting, Physical transfer of material from the warehouse to and from the production floor via sit down and standup forklifts, coordinate with shop floor Lead to efficiently move material off shop floor upon work completion, Load and unload trucks,
\n Responsibilities
\n The Warehouse Technicians take daily working instructions from the Warehouse Lead, the Warehouse Technicians & Lead report directly into the Warehouse/Logistics Manager. The Warehouse and shop areas are a climate-controlled work environment in a day shift operation working Monday through Friday 6:30am to 3:00pm. Overtime approved as required. Safety First Culture must follow all Siemens Safety Rules and Guidelines. Completes daily requirements in a Warehouse and Manufacturing shop environment under supervision.
  • Verify all incoming material for count accuracy, visually inspect for obvious damage.

  • Pull material per system generated paperwork/picklists.

  • Perform computer transactions for transfer and issue of material. (SAP)
  • \n
  • Move material with both sit down and standup forklifts.
  • \n
  • Must have high attention to detail with the ability to read and understand detailed part numbers and instructions.
  • \n
  • Must be familiar with warehouse duties and practices.
  • \n
  • Follow verbal and written instructions.
  • \n
  • Ability to safely lift items not to exceed 50 Lbs.
  • \n
  • The ability to take work instructions and perform tasks working independently.

\n Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
  • High School Diploma
  • \n
  • Must be knowledgeable experienced in SAP warehouse operating systems.
  • \n
  • 5 - 8 years' experience in warehouse/inventory control practices, experience working with hand tools such as, Drills, Impacts-Air operated hand tools, Pallet Jacks, Overhead Cranes.
  • \n
  • Must have Forklift operation experience. Will operate forklifts ranging from 4k standup, 8k sit down to 36k sit down for large loads in excess of 16k pounds.
  • \n
  • 5% Travel will be required domestically and internationally
  • \n
  • Must be able to lift and move Parts of 50 Lbs. or more on a daily basis
  • 5 to 8 years' warehouse/inventory control experience in an SAP operating system.
  • \n
