Job purpose:
To support the growth of the Field Performance Services within the UK and Mediterranean Region with Technical Support for Client transactions including meeting attendance, service presentations and technical documents. To develop technical solutions to Client requirements To develop close working relations with Client Technical Personnel in the UK
Preparation of Technical and Commercial Proposals to Clients To represent the Field Performance Group at Technical meetings/seminars etc. To oversee the execution of awarded work being performed by the operational teams within TechnipFMC and remain Client point of contact if required To become proficient in the TechnipFMC Condition Performance Monitoring for flexible pipes system after training in order to grow this service and to support ongoing awarded contracts in the UK

Typical background and experience required:

Must have:

  • Engineering Degree (BSc with honours, MSc or equivalent) in Mechanical, Civil or General Engineering.
  • Subsea Umbilicals, Risers and Flowlines experience.

Nice to have:

  • Previous experience working in an operational setting with a focus on flexible pipe integrity
  • Experience working within a flexible design setting
  • Knowledge of design rules and practices relating to flexible pipe
  • Experience of incident investigation / life extension

Main accountabilities:

  • Provide SURF operations support and technical expertise as required during the Sales process
  • Develop Technical solutions to Client issues utilising Internal Resources or External Suppliers
  • Representation of TechnipFMC LoF Group at Industry events
  • Support/Attendance with Sales/BD Manager at Client Meetings
  • Retain ownership and oversee execution of contracted work scopes as required
  • Participation in the development of the TechnipFMC CPM System for SURF.
  • Become proficient in the TechnipFMC CPM System for SURF in order to give high-level Client demonstrations and to support live contracts
