Tasks:
Sr. Software Quality Assurance Engineer positions offered by ABB Enterprise Software Inc. (an ABB company) (Sugarland, TX). Responsible for leading the testing efforts and quality assurance for software applications for electrical utilities. Create test strategies for automation testing for advanced distributed management systems, SCADA systems, Energy/Generation Mgmt. system applications including creating automation frameworks and implementing QA processes. Create automated test scripts including developing in API and UI code in addition to creating manual scripts.

Requirements:
Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field and 10 years of experience in the position offered or 10 years of experience performing software quality assurance and automation testing. Also requires 5 years of experience: leading software testing for client/server, web, and internationalization based applications; developing in JavaScript or VB script; maintaining automation testing suite and frameworks using Selenium and TestNG; configuring and executing automation tests using Jenkins; working with relational database; creating test cases, test plans, and test labs and assigning the test cases to test cycles in HP ALM; using at least one of the following project management tools VersionOne, TFS, or Jira; using HP QC/ALM or TFS test management tools; using one of the following messaging tools/integration tools: Tibco, Websphere, ActiveMQ, or RabbitMQ; and using security vulnerability assessment. Requires 3 years of experience using Unix/Linux shell scripting; and conducting performance and load testing for enterprise software.
